Company History
The story of Brooklyn Plantology originated in 1946 with two Italian-American brothers living the American Dream. They opened a small produce store called F & L Produce which grew to be a full scale Home & Garden Center and became a staple in the neighborhood (as well as most of NYC), catering to many decorators, landscapers, party planners and set designers.
Now 65 years and 4 generations later, this family owned and operated business is still thriving in the same neighborhood where the original F & L Produce opened all those years ago.
Like our family, many of our customers have "grown up" in our store and have been shopping with us for generations. We invite you to come visit our beautiful garden center in the heart of Brooklyn and become part of our extended family!
